TRICAP: AUTOMATIC SORTING MACHINE for filled capsules with defect
Description of the TRICAP machine
The machine TRICAP is installed directly in the output of the filling machine to perform the unit selection and elimination of defective capsules.
To comply with the requirements of GMP selection, the following defects are automatically ejected inside 2 specific rejection boxes.
SORTING AND ELIMINATION OF FILLED CAPSULES with a deformation on the diameter :
- Capsule with joining defect.
- Telescoped capsules (internal and external).
- Capsules crushed, flattened, oval.
- Capsules with product (powder or pellets) intercalated between cap and body parts.
- Capsules with defect, holes, bubbles, asperity…
SORTING AND ELIMINATION OF EMPTY CAPSULES and separate cap and body parts:
- Empty capsule.
- Very weakly filled capsule (effective if < 15% of the total weight).
- Body loose part filled with product.
- Separate cap and body parts.
